Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Release Date, Details and Cover Art

The mystery of when Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice would be available for home theater consumption has finally been solved as you can expect the Thomas Pynchon novel adaptation for the big screen to make its Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD debut on April 28.

Inherent Vice stars an impressive cast including Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, Katherine Waterston, Reese Witherspoon, Benicio Del Toro, Martin Short, Jena Malone and musician Joanna Newsom. The film is set during the late 60s when “trippy” and “groovy” were still very much a part of American culture and a wacky story involving a billionaire and a kidnapping feel right at home.

The Inherent Vice Blu-ray is a combo pack release with DVD and Digital HD. Bonus features are identical between the Blu-ray combo and standalone DVD releases as follows:

  • Los Paranoias
  • Shasta Fay
  • The Golden Fang
  • Everything In This Dream
