Anyone who saw David Leitch and Chad Stahelski’s John Wick starring Keanu Reeves as an insanely talented hitman driven by revenge is chomping at the bit to add its sequel, John Wick 2, to their home video collection. Judging by pre-order activity at Amazon that’s quite a few of you.
John Wick 2 currently holds two spots in Amazon’s Blu-ray bestsellers chart ahead of its official home video release tomorrow. The John Wick 2 Blu-ray combo pack sits in position three, while the John Wick 2 4K UHD Blu-ray combo is at position 13.
I had seen the 4K version of John Wick 2 briefly in the Top 10. It may get there again once word spreads that it looks and sounds fantastic, and is about to arrive in stores.
Not to be left out is the original John Wick Blu-ray combo only one spot behind the sequel’s 4K version at position 14. The more expensive original John Wick 4K Blu-ray combo is way back in position 72.
Let’s see if both versions of John Wick 2 can solidify themselves in Amazon’s Top 10 Blu-ray bestsellers list before the week is out.
