Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced an early Digital HD release date for the chilly thriller Everest starring Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Sam Worthington, Keira Knightley, Emily Watson and Jake Gyllenhaal on Digital HD, followed by a physical disc release early next year.
Everest will first appear December 22 to watch at home on Digital HD, just in time for Christmas and the holidays. The Everest Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and VOD release date falls several weeks later on January 19, 2016.
Universal will present Everest in 2.4:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby Atmos Audio. Bonus features include the following:
- LEARNING TO CLIMB: THE ACTOR’S JOURNEY – Cast members and the two film consultants who helped them prepare for the shoot discuss getting ready for the arduous production.
