Bryan Singer Delivering X-Men Days of Future Past Rogue Cut News Tomorrow on Twitter’s Periscope

The countdown to an X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut Blu-ray, DVD and Digital release date and run time has breached 24 hours with the big news coming from none other than director Bryan Singer on his Periscope account.

News of the X-Men Rogue Cut first surfaced before Days of Future Past made it into theaters. Rumors began to swirl that an extensive action sequence featuring Anna Paquin as the mutant Rogue had been cut entirely from the film. In addition, more scenes from the “future” were also removed.

All together, it is estimated that the Rogue Cut will add another 18-20 minutes worth of footage back into Days of Future Past.

No one knows quite what to expect from Bryan Singer in his Periscope announcement. He could share a few facts. He could share a clip from the new footage. Or, given he’s currently in production on X-Men: Apocalypse, he could let us all glimpse some behind-the-scenes action from the upcoming sequel.

X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut is expected to make its home video debut sometime this summer.
